The CHARISMA housemates are not waiting until January to show up on TV. The short anime for CHARISMA begins today, November 4, 2026, inside TBS’s Yoru no Brunch — a warm-up for the main series, which premieres January 7, 2027.
The main TV anime airs Thursdays at 11:56 p.m. JST across TBS and 28 affiliated stations in Japan. A new teaser trailer, released with the November 1 announcement, shows the first footage from the main series: seven young men sharing Charisma House, each embodying a different kind of “charisma,” getting into chaotic everyday trouble together.
The seven housemates
The previously announced cast returns for the anime:
- Yuki Ono as Fumiya Ito, the Charisma of Good and Evil
- Masahiro Yamanaka as Rikai Kusanagi, the Charisma of Order
- Katsumi Fukuhara as Iori Motohashi, the Charisma of Obedience
- Kenta Hosoda as Kei Sarukawa, the Charisma of Rebellion
- Saku Hyuga as Ohse Minato, the Charisma of Internal Punishment
- Genki Okawa as Terra, the Charisma of Self-love
- Tomohisa Hashizume as Amahiko Tendo, the Charisma of Sex
Two new voices join them: Shinnosuke Tachibana as Soemon Nakakami and Tomohiro Ono as Shu Torahime.
Joji Furuta directs at Pierrot Films, with Shu Matsubara on series composition and scripts and music from EVIL LINE RECORDS. The anime is based on the Chojin-teki Share House Story “Charisma” mixed-media project from Evil Line Records and Dazed.
Out today, too
The seven-member cast’s song, “Mitemite Anime no Charisma,” arrives digitally today, November 4 — the same day the shorts begin, so today is the first real taste of the anime version, not just a date on a calendar.
One thing still unconfirmed: no international streaming platform has been named yet for the series, so viewers outside Japan will have to wait for a simulcast announcement before January.
