Halloween is the perfect excuse for a demon binge. These eight series put demons front and center — as villains, antiheroes, roommates, and everything in between — and every one of them fits an October 31 marathon.
- Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The obvious pick, and still the best starting point. Tanjiro’s fight against Muzan and the Upper Ranks is the modern standard for demon action, and the Infinity Castle run is the franchise at its peak.
- Chainsaw Man — Denji makes a contract with the Chainsaw Devil and becomes a devil hunter himself. Brutal, funny, and completely unpredictable — a Halloween watch in every sense.
- Blue Exorcist — Rin Okumura discovers he is the son of Satan and enrolls at True Cross Academy to become an exorcist. Demons, training arcs, and a hero literally fighting his own bloodline.
- Jujutsu Kaisen — Curses, not demons in name, but the same energy: grotesque, powerful beings born from human fear, and sorcerers who fight them in the shadows. The Shibuya Incident arc is a horror marathon on its own.
- The Devil Is a Part-Timer! — The Demon King lands in modern Tokyo, loses his powers, and gets a job at a fast-food restaurant. The funniest demon show on this list, and the perfect palate cleanser between horror picks.
- Black Butler — Ciel Phantomhive’s butler, Sebastian, is a demon in a tailcoat — elegant, deadly, and stealing every scene he is in. Gothic atmosphere made for Halloween night.
- Hell’s Paradise — A condemned ninja and an executioner travel to a mysterious island in search of the elixir of life, and find something far stranger waiting. Beautiful, violent, and genuinely unsettling.
- Dandadan — Yokai, aliens, and a possessed high schooler whose grandmother is a spirit medium. It is chaotic, hilarious, and scary in bursts — a great closer for a Halloween watch party.
Start with Demon Slayer for the spectacle, end with The Devil Is a Part-Timer! for the laughs, and you have a full Halloween covered.
